Lugus Ceramics studio open day in collaboration with Acoustic Survey Art Lab featuring clay and sound-making workshops, demonstrations and activities, featuring a workshop and performance by composer and multi-instrumentalist, Sylvia Hallett.

What? Open Studio Day, filled with hands-on activities, demos and performances that join ceramics and sound-making.

Where? Lugus Ceramics Studio at Stockwood Discovery Centre, in Luton

When? Sunday 12 April, 12-5pm

An afternoon of hands-on making, listening and live experimentation at Lugus Ceramics Studio with demonstrations and activities for all ages, featuring accessible sound-making workshops by Acoustic Survey Art Lab and Sylvia Hallett: 

  • explore clay through live demos and taster activities

  • make and record sounds with everyday objects

  • experience live performances using everyday objects, voice and electronics

  • meet artists and see how the studio works

Sunday, 12 April, 12-5pm, Lugus Ceramics Studio at Stockwood Discovery Centre, Luton. Free with booking needed for some of the activities.
